RECRUITING NEWS AND FEATURES 
Offensive lineman Jeremy Burgess has been committed to USC for months and participated in the Shrine Bowl all star game over the weekend. When asked for his comments on the overall experience, Burgess said.... USC commitment Matt Raysor earned defensive MVP honors for his performance at the Shrine Bowl over the weekend. When asked for his thoughts on the overall experience, Raysor said.... Coach Holtz met last night with one of USC's top defensive line targets. How did the visit go?.... One of USC's commitments visited Rutgers this past weekend. Did the visit impact his commitment? Coach Holtz made an in-home visit to offensive line target Geoff Berniard. Here's what Berniard had to say... As we predicted would happen earlier this week.... The following article contains our observations from today's Shrine Bowl practices, as well as, several tidbits of information we picked up throughout the day.... When asked where things stand from a recruiting standpoint, hw said... (GCI) Joe Joe Brown Update When quarterback Joe Joe Brown was asked where things stand with his recruiting, he said... Coffeyville C.C. cornerback Jonathan Joseph visited USC over the weekend and we caught up with him to get his thoughts on the visit.... Mike Gilmartin a 6'5" 270 pound offensive lineman from Estero, Florida has committed to play football for USC. Gilmartin actually committed to USC last month. His commitment was initially reported November 19th in the Naples newspaper.... Maybe the prospect at the top of USC's recruiting board, regardless of position, is Marshville, NC super DT Marque Hall. When asked for an update on his vitals, Hall said.... One of the Palmetto State's top prospects this season is Marlboro County's Robert Ayers. The 6'3" 219 pound linebacker, who finished his senior season with 112 tackles and 4 int's has a new top five, and his longtime favorite is now on the outside looking in.... Coffeyville C.C. cornerback Jonathan Joseph has been committed to USC since the summer. He recently resisted overtures from Tennessee, who wanted the all star to visit Knoxville the last week in November. However, another SEC power has jumped in the picture and USC now has a fight on their hands.... Bamberg-Erhardt defensive lineman Matt Raysor (6'4" 295) has been a long-time commitment to the Gamecocks. However, Clemson coach Ron West has been moving in on Raysor recently and Clemson has now extended an offer.... USC played host this weekend to Demonte Bolden (6'5" 290), one of the top defensive line prospects in the country. When asked to comment on his first official visit, Bolden said.... USC played host to two official visitors over the weekend. According to sources... Signing a kicker in this class who can come in compete next season is a high priority for the USC staff....
